I have extracted the following chronology of RC’s newspaper ownership and growth.

Alliance Review

R.C. purchased 1/3rd interest from his brother Frank who had the other 2/3rds.

Lorain Times Herald (Purchased 1919)

RC owned 2/3rds and brother Frank 1/3rd. RC was publisher in Lorain.

Mansfield News

RC owned 1/3rd, Frank 1/3rd, and Emil Jenkins (business manger in Lorain) 1/3rd

After a controversy between RC and Frank, a trade occurred as follows:

Frank took RC’s 1/3rd in Alliance Review and RC took Franks 1/3rd in Lorain Times

Herald and Mansfield News. RC bought Emil Jenkins 1/3rd in Mansfield. Then RC

moved to Mansfield to be publisher.

1931 RC sold Lorain and Mansfield to Brush-Moore Newspapers

Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum (1927)
